Valduero Crianza 2002

NEW WINES FROM SPAIN

Bodegas Valduero is a company owned and managed by the family Garcia Viadero. The winery was founded in 1984 in Gumiel del Mercado, a small village in the county of Burgos, located 10 miles north-west of Aranda de Duero, right in the D.O. Ribera del Duero.

Despite the fact that the region has a long & reputed viticultural tradition in the early 80s, there were only 5 to 7 wineries in Ribera del Duero & the wine-awareness was limited to advanced consumers. Valduero exports 50% of its production to more than 30 countries all over the world.
